Sorry, No on Surround, 4 discs all stereo, Ram 24/96 and 3 other 16/44.1 discs, Outakes, Mono, and a Live .Surround???
I strongly disagree! There was a DTS of BOTR, but it wasn't a very good mix.
You disagree about the mix or it's existence?I strongly disagree!
Ha ha, I'm not a BotR quad denier. I disagree about the mix. I like it.You disagree about the mix or it's existence?
I'd love to hear even a good stereo mix of this! Love the psychedelic tracks on this one a LOT! Being able to hear the "rockestra" tracks with more than just a single drum set, single bass, single guitar, etc audible in the mix would be most welcome! (And that's unfortunately really not much hyperbole.)Where Snood's Back To The Egg Dammit!!!
I highly doubt this will contain any surround sound at all.
The only Beatles-related product I can see in surround sound this year (besides anything revolving around "Let It Be") would be potentially a 50th anniversary reissue of "All Things Must Pass" from George Harrison (I can imagine that album being remixed in surround sound by Giles Martin & Sam Okell)
Well, I guess that explains the lack of ELO in surround, aside from the SQ albums released back in the day. I wish he'd reconsider.I think that one was produced by Jeff Lynne... I know he's not much of a surround proponent, but we can only hope! I love that album!
I keep reading the title as "Flaming Pile". Now, I've never heard the album. Is it that bad?!
Maybe it's on Tidal! In which case I might check it out at work soon. For what it's worth, I like Flaming Pie. Like the associated recordings, too.
