Hey Ricky, can you imagine the Jets and Lions will be playing each other in mid-December in a meaningful game? Has the earth shifted drastically on its axis?

yep the poles have reversed - or something like that. Big game coming for both the Lions and the Jets. Should be a good game. After years and years and years of Lions futility I got used to getting things done around the house on Sunday as opposed to sitting in mancave watching football. All of a sudden, things are not getting done around the house on Sunday. But I am digging it !! It may be too soon to say - or I may still be on cloud nine - but I think the Lions are FINALLY on the right track. Not sure if they make the playoffs this year. But they will next year

Now Thursday night, in Seattle and I would never say that for Seattle as they always play us tough.
Niners win on Thursday we clinch NFC West. Going to be hard in the Land of OZ.

Can the Niners somehow climb the ladder to get a playoff home game? Is the NFC Championship going to be in Philly? My wife's family are all in Philly and all Eagles fans. Telling me to book a flight, buy my ticket and I will go out.
Look at Detroit, above 500 in the total NFC, wow.
Philly is 3-1 in there division, means they still have 2 to go.
Niners are 4-0 in there division, still have two to go, Seattle and Cardinals.
If the Niners go 6-0 in there division and say Philly goes 5-1, I wonder how that plays out?

The first deciding factor is overall W-L record. Philly has 3 wins more than the niners. The division record only comes into play when there is a tie in the W-L record.

In maybe, oh, late 80's early 90's the Broncos were hot & the Chiefs were not. Emotionally it was rivalry if you were a KC fan. But now, after 14 consecutive wins over Denver, not so much.

Still it was good to see some come back from Denver mid-game. Too lop sided & it's not interesting. The Chiefs may not make it to the Super Bowl very often & if we do we may not win. But Reid & company have done a great job getting to the playoffs. I see pre-order wild card play off tickets went on sale today for us just in case...

Hey Markie, I don't see 49ers catching Philly. Only the top team in each conference gets a 1st rd. bye in playoffs. 49ers will get home game if they win division . Seattle is their only real competition in division this yr. Seattle has beaten them 15 out of the last 18 games..... I see SF winning division.
I (personally) don't like 49ers being a GB fan (since we can't seem to be able to beat them when it matters) but they are a really good team. Happy for you as a fan

...also I see that Packers are a 7.5 point favorite over LA Rams. How is that even possible? For a previous yr. Superbowl winner, the Rams are really having an atrocious year!
I guess the odds makers must think the Baker Mayfield comeback was a fluke.
I don't know what to think.....
