This is not meant as a thread crap but....

I am familiar with DCD but do not own any of their music now, nor have I heard much other than samples here and there.

Looking at it with that in mind; Are these really worth getting or are we all just anxious for something/anything on SACD.

Maybe I should buy a the cheapest DCD CD I can find to try and get a feel for their music.

They are a very interesting group, with interesting songs that mixes and transcends many musical styles. Each Album is different in styles, so just one album would not be a good example about what they’re about, there’s so many different musical idea’s that they’ve explored. They may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I dig them. There's also a great live DVD "Toward The Within" for only $12.99: http://www.amazon.com/Dead-Can-Danc...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1209625542&sr=1-1

HMV UK sent me a couple of e-mails - "oops, we goofed...read our disclaimers, by the way." Order canceled.

Oh, well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

You know, I just popped in Into The Labyrinth for the first time in many years and wow! What a beautiful album. It really is too bad they won't be doing the DCD discs in multi-channel format.
